Ruahine Team Homework Expectations

Spelling Words   Your spelling words will be words that you need to learn from your spelling lists and any blends or word study that you need to continue to develop.

Reading:  You are expected to read for a minimum of 15 minutes each night.

 Depending on the reading group you are in you will need to:

* take a book from your browsing box to read and remember to change this each day (this is your responsibility)     or

* read independently, books of your choice from home or the library.

Maths:  Maths tasks will be connected to the stage you are working at or the topic we are covering at the time. It is really important that you remember learning your maths knowledge needs to be with instant recall so you can “Climb your way to success” learning basic facts e.g. times tables.

Remember to get these sections signed by an adult on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

The T is for the written test which is on Friday.

You may be given other activities to complete which will have a due in by date.

If you have any questions or need help with any of these activities it is your responsibility to see me before the due in by date.
