We have been working on creating some borders to hang up in our classroom to make our mark on our room. We learned that we could design our own borders which would replicate the tukutuku panels in a Whare. We first practiced drawing koru shapes that represented our families and also write a pepeha to introduce our families learn some te reo vocab that would accompany our artwork.
